Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Jersey City, NJ that is seeking a Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer. Responsibilities: • Manage ETL processing with Python, Oracle, and Unix, including both batch ETL and real-time stream processing • Load and process large data sets from multiple vendors, performing data cleansing, transformation, and analytics with a focus on data modeling • Perform performance tuning for existing SQL and PL/SQL objects and build optimized database components • Create complex Unix shell scripts to automate batch job processing and generate real-time and daily reports on a weekly basis • Conduct logical and physical database design, data modeling, and prepare design specifications to analyze dependencies and assess risks • Develop and maintain technical specifications, data mappings, program logic, and flowcharts for all change requests • Write advanced queries to identify and remediate potential issues when interfaces fail • Automate flat file loading into Oracle using SQL • Loader, including the creation of control files for efficient data import Requirements • 9+ years of experience designing and developing Oracle procedures, functions, triggers, packages, materialized views, and views using advanced features of Oracle 11g and 12c • To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed • Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
