ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Client is seeking a Principal Planning Analytics Consultant to support a high-impact, project-based initiative focused on demand planning and supply chain analytics. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical expert who can bridge advanced data engineering with real-world manufacturing and supply chain processes to drive measurable business outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and develop advanced analytics solutions using Python and Snowflake SQL
• Build and deploy full-stack data applications and interactive dashboards
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and supply chain processes
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitHub automation workflows
• Implement cloud-native and containerized solutions for enterprise-scale applications
• Lead agile sprint activities including daily standups and sprint planning
• Drive ROI-focused analytics initiatives that deliver measurable business impact
• Manage large-scale relational datasets and ensure data integrity across environments
• Communicate technical insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Minimum of five years of professional experience in data science within manufacturing or supply chain environments
• At least three years of experience working with ERP or MRP systems and data
• Advanced proficiency in Python and Snowflake SQL
• Strong experience with Snowflake architecture and data platform management
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, SIGMA, QlikView, or Streamlit
• Experience working with large relational datasets and data wrangling techniques
• Proven ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across diverse audiences
• Experience working in agile development environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with ERP implementations for finance or operations
• Familiarity with rapid application development methodologies
• Experience with cloud-native deployments and containerization
• Proficiency with GitHub automation, CI/CD pipelines, and workflow management
• Experience with APIs, service accounts, and secure development practices
• Knowledge of test-driven development and rollback strategies
• Experience with data visualization libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly
• Experience leading cross-functional teams across multiple geographies
• Demonstrated ability to drive business impact and ROI through analytics initiatives
