Job Title: Process Improvement Data Analyst
Location: Fairport, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Process Improvement Data Analyst to join our dynamic Project/Program Management group. This individual will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making through the development of dashboards, digital workflows, and process automation. The role focuses on enhancing visibility into project performance, resource utilization, and operational efficiency using tools such as Power BI, Planview, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards to track KPIs and project metrics.
• Migrate project management workflows and data from SharePoint to Planview with a focus on data integrity and usability.
• Assist in modernizing SharePoint 2016 environments, including content migration, workflow conversion, and document library management.
• Build and implement Power Automate workflows to automate repetitive and manual processes.
• Develop Power Apps for mobile-friendly, digital form entry and data tracking.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and process improvement teams to translate business needs into actionable data and automation solutions.
• Conduct data audits, enforce validation rules, and ensure data consistency across platforms.
• Create documentation, training guides, and onboarding materials for new systems and tools.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support strategy and decision-making.
• Stay updated on new features and best practices across the Microsoft Power Platform, Planview, and SharePoint.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or project support roles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Power Platform:
• Power BI
• Power Apps
• Power Automate
• Experience with Planview or other project portfolio management tools.
• Familiarity with SharePoint administration and workflow/data migration.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and multitasking skills.
• High attention to detail and data quality.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience configuring and generating reports within Planview.
• Knowledge of data governance and master data management principles.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Background working in manufacturing or operational environments.
• Exposure to ETL, data modeling, or cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
