Are you ready to lead a step-change in procurement for a global technology and transformation business? We’re seeking a dynamic Procurement Transformation Director to spearhead the evolution of our procurement function.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Cost Optimisation Director, you’ll drive the transformation of our procurement operating model, strategy, and effectiveness. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract (with the potential to extend or become permanent), offering the opportunity to make a significant impact from day one.
What You’ll Do:
• Develop and execute a procurement transformation roadmap aligned with our cost optimisation goals.
• Design and implement a new target operating model (TOM) for procurement, covering people, processes, platforms, and partners.
• Establish category management excellence across direct, indirect, IT, and professional services.
• Drive consistency in sourcing processes, templates, and governance.
• Rationalise procurement structures into a coherent, value-adding Centre of Excellence.
• Introduce KPIs and dashboards to track savings, cycle times, supplier compliance, and adoption.
• Champion digitalisation, including automation, AI-enabled sourcing, and e-procurement platforms.
• Act as the executive face of procurement, engaging board members, senior leaders, and external partners.
• Lead and upskill a transformation team, fostering a culture of transparency, collaboration, and innovation.
What You’ll Bring:
• Experience in senior procurement leadership or transformation roles within large, complex organisations.
• Proven expertise in building and deploying procurement operating models.
• Strong category management skills across indirects, IT, and third-party services.
• Familiarity with procurement systems (SAP, Oracle) and digital/AI solutions.
• Demonstrable track record of delivering substantial, finance-recognised savings.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills at board level.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through change.
