Role description
This is a retail product data management role. Cloud engineering, ETL, or software development backgrounds without retail product lifecycle experience will not be considered. We are supporting a leading global apparel & footwear brand seeking a Product Data Analyst to join their North America Planning team. This role supports the Product Information Management (PIM) function and plays a critical role in maintaining product data accuracy across the product creation lifecycle. If you are highly detail-oriented, Excel-strong, and comfortable managing large datasets in a fast-paced retail environment, this is a great opportunity. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain global product data aligned to product creation timelines. • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and system consistency. • Analyze large datasets to identify discrepancies and data gaps. • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Merchandising, Planning, and Technical teams. • Troubleshoot data/system issues and escalate as needed. • Support downstream systems with accurate product information. • Contribute to continuous process improvements. Must-Have Qualifications (Non-Negotiable): • Experience with MMX (Merch Manager X). • Strong Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas). • Experience managing and validating large datasets. • Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset. What You Bring: • Bachelor’s degree required. • 1–3 years of experience in product data, PLM, PIM, merchandising support, or similar. • Detail-oriented and process-driven. • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment. • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
