Product Management Specialist – SAP & Data

Please find additional details about the role below: Job Title: Product Management Specialist – SAP & Data Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Pay Rate: $60–$65/hr on W2 (All Inclusive) Type: Contract Duration: 3–6 Months Job Overview Our client is seeking a Product Management Specialist – SAP & Data to support the Joining & Completion Fluids Product Line. This role will support product and project management activities by coordinating SAP product data, maintaining dashboards, and assisting with product portfolio management and documentation. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between product management, engineering teams, SAP systems, and business stakeholders to ensure product data accuracy, reporting visibility, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities • Support SAP Material Master data management and coordinate updates through internal SAP teams. • Navigate SAP to retrieve, analyze, and validate product data and track product hierarchy. • Identify data discrepancies and support data quality improvements. • Assist with product portfolio management and SAP rationalization initiatives. • Track project deliverables, timelines, and stakeholder communication. • Work with large datasets using Advanced Excel to analyze product and operational data. • Maintain and update Power BI dashboards and KPI reporting. • Coordinate creation and updates of product documentation and marketing materials including product data sheets, technical documentation, presentations, and website content. • Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, IT, and Data teams to support product initiatives. Note: This role does not require SAP configuration or programming. The candidate will coordinate updates through internal SAP teams. Required Skills • Experience working with SAP systems and product data • Strong Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis) • Experience working with large datasets and reporting • Product data management or project coordination experience • Strong analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills Preferred Skills • Power BI or dashboard reporting experience • Experience in Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Industrial, or Engineering environments • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or ERP data projects • Product portfolio or product operations experience Interview Process • 1st Round: 30-minute virtual interview with Hiring Manager • 2nd Round: Team interview • Final Discussion: If required Interviews will be scheduled ASAP.
