Product Owner – Planisware | Life Sciences
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN Planisware Life Sciences
📍 Location: London or Stevenage (Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite)
💰 Rate: Up to £600 per day
📅 Contract: 12 Months

We are currently seeking an experienced Product Owner to join a major Life Sciences programme focused on driving digital transformation across a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the roadmap and delivery of Planisware applications that support scientific, clinical, and operational teams. You will work closely with stakeholders across business, technology, quality, and compliance functions to ensure solutions deliver measurable value while meeting regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and priorities for Planisware applications.
• Own and manage the product backlog, balancing business value, compliance requirements, and technical considerations.
• Translate complex scientific, clinical, and manufacturing processes into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, data, and business teams to deliver high-quality product increments.
• Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and stakeholder demonstrations.
• Ensure solutions comply with regulatory standards including GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and data integrity principles.
• Support validation activities, audit readiness, and deployment into regulated environments.
• Monitor product performance, adoption, and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Engage with senior stakeholders and provide clear communication on progress, priorities, risks, and dependencies.
Essential Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or other regulated industries.
• Strong hands-on experience with Planisware.
• Good understanding of GxP regulations, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11, and ALCOA+ principles.
• Experience supporting Computer System Validation (CSV) and/or Computer Software Assurance (CSA).
• Strong Agile delivery experience (Scrum and/or Kanban).
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams including scientific, clinical, technical, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Experience
• FAIR data principles and data governance.
• Product certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, or SAFe PO/PM.
• Exposure to AI/ML, automation, cloud technologies, or data engineering.
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise transformation programmes.
