Job Title: Project Analyst III
Work Location: 21 Lynn Morse Drive, Painted Post, NY 14870
Schedule: Hybrid (50β75% Onsite), MonβFri, 8:00 AMβ5:00 PM
Position Overview
The Project Analyst III will support Corning Shared Services on the OneStream Implementation project, with primary responsibility for data reconciliation and validation across multiple financial systems. The role may also support additional projects based on the portfolio and business needs. This position requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving project environment.
Key Responsibilities
OneStream Data Reconciliation & Validation
β’ Perform detailed data reconciliations between SAP, PeopleSoft, and Central Finance systems.
β’ Reconcile data at account, entity, product, and department levels in both functional currency and USD.
β’ Utilize Excel and PDF outputs to perform, document, and validate reconciliations.
β’ Maintain organized documentation in SharePoint Online for easy access and audit readiness.
Project Support & Collaboration
β’ Support the OneStream Implementation team during the Data Reconciliation phase (2β3 months anticipated).
β’ Provide analytical support for additional Shared Service or Finance-related projects as assigned.
β’ Assist with identifying issues, investigating root causes, and communicating findings to project leaders.
β’ Contribute to process improvement recommendations and risk escalation when necessary.
β’ Maintain strong communication with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, HR, and Procurement.
Required Education & Experience
β’ Bachelorβs degree required.
β’ Minimum of 3+ years supporting Finance or Shared Services projects.
Required Skills & Competencies
β’ Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, comparisons), Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
β’ Strong accounting foundation with ability to interpret financial data.
β’ Experience with SAP and/or PeopleSoft financial systems.
β’ Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
β’ Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
β’ Self-starter with proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Strong follow-through and ability to manage multiple priorities.
