Hiring Manager is looking for a candidate who have Project Management/Order Management expertise in managing the execution of projects/orders using SAP not just participating in projects to manage orders for High Voltage Service shop. Not looking for a candidate with a SCM/Purchasing background. Job Description Project Manager plays a key role within the project execution of all orders in HV Service to ensure delivery/completion of goods or services to the customer with a focus on customer satisfaction, invoice release through cash collection. Scope of Work:o Manage orders from sales handoff to customer delivery/acceptance.o Support service business, primarily for the U.S. market, but also servicing Canada, Mexico, and other countries.o Work closely with internal teams: Sales, Supply Chain, Shop, and Planning.o Manage projects related to manufacturing breakers that are no longer produced by the new products business.o Manage approximately $1M in revenue per month. Key Requirements Experience in planning, scheduling, and organizing scope. Experience in a manufacturing or shop environment is highly desirable. SAP knowledge is required; specifically, S/4HANA version. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments. Fulfillment and planning experience interacting with shop floor operations. High Voltage or Electrical Manufacturing background is a plus, but not mandatory. KEY SKILLS:o Shop/Manufacturing experienceo SAP S/4HANA experienceo Strong communication skills Project Management/Coordination- Collaborate with the commercial operations team to ensure all project-related information is accurate and complete per contractual agreements.- Review and audit project handoffs, verifying contract details, payment terms, and schedules.- Maintain and update all project documentation in the company's ERP tool (SAP) and verify field service completion dates in the scheduling tool (MSA). Communication and Collaboration:- Facilitate effective communication between the commercial operations team and the operations team (field and production) to compile details that support project execution.- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding project updates, shipping, tracking information, and scheduling. Order Management:- Oversee the backlog management of assigned projects, ensuring accurate planning and reporting of delivery/invoicing dates and revenue forecasts.- Confirm product schedules, shipments, and on-time delivery of materials for service projects.- Collaborate with the project management team to provide administrative support on related project orders and turnkey projects. Continuous Improvement:- Share lessons learned and best practices from project execution to enhance processes and outcomes.- Collect and follow up on customer satisfaction surveys related to managed projects. Data Analysis and Reporting:- Utilize Excel for data analysis, tracking project metrics, and reporting on progress.- Familiarity with Power BI is desirable for enhanced data visualization and reporting. Attributes/Skills Required/Sought: Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Proven ability to manage multiple project/order timelines effectively. Excellent organization and time management skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and intercultural communication abilities; demonstrated aptitude for driving change through team leadership, facilitation, and influence. Knowledge and experience with SAP for order management and project tracking. Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting, along with experience in creating impactful PowerPoint presentations. Familiarity with project management processes and tools is a plus. Knowledge of high voltage products, services, and their applications is preferred. Willingness to travel occasionally as required by project needs. Experience/Education Required/Sought: High school diploma with 6+ years of experience in project order management, customer support, and project management or contract order assistance; OR Associate degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in business with 2+ years of relevant experience in project order management, customer support, and project management or contract order assistance.
