The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT's preferred partners. About the Role Job Title: Full Stack Python Developer Location: Remote-CST or EST is best due to other team members working in these time zones. Duration: 6-12 months contract to Hire Visa Restriction: Only accepting Green Card visa holders and US Citizens We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong foundation in front-end development (React & TypeScript) and Python-based back-end frameworks, primarily FastAPI. The ideal candidate will also bring experience working with cloud platforms like AWS and Databricks, and be comfortable building and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications across the stack. Responsibilities β€’ Design, develop, and maintain responsive and dynamic front-end interfaces using React and TypeScript. β€’ Build robust, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs using FastAPI (with experience in Flask or Django as a plus). β€’ Collaborate closely with data engineers and platform teams using tools like Databricks for data-driven application development. β€’ Deploy and manage applications on AWS, ensuring performance, reliability, and security. β€’ Participate in code reviews, testing, and optimization to ensure high code quality and maintainability. β€’ Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver high-impact solutions. β€’ Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across the stack. Qualifications β€’ Strong experience in React and TypeScript for building modern, interactive UIs. β€’ Proficiency in Python and back-end frameworks such as FastAPI (Flask or Django experience is also valuable). β€’ Solid understanding of API design, RESTful principles, and web application architecture. β€’ Experience working with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS, etc.). β€’ Familiarity with Databricks and/or other data platforms is a strong plus. β€’ Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines is desirable. β€’ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. β€’ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Skills β€’ Experience with cloud-native application development and microservices architecture. β€’ Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. β€’ Understanding of security best practices in full-stack development. Pay range and compensation package A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $70.00 to $80.00 per hourly on C2C. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
