About the Role
We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team on a contract basis. This role requires a seasoned engineer capable of owning complex backend development tasks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
💡 What You’ll Do
• Develop and maintain high-performance Python applications and services
• Build RESTful APIs and backend services using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code
• Optimize existing applications for performance and scalability
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to deliver robust solutions
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
• Support CI/CD processes and automation improvements
✅ What We’re Looking For
• 15+ years of professional software development experience
• 10+ years of hands-on Python experience
• Strong experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices
• Strong testing, debugging, and code-quality skills
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (project requirement)
⭐ Nice to Have
• Experience with async Python (asyncio, Celery)
• Data engineering, ETL, or ML pipeline experience
• Government or regulated-industry project experience
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
