Role Summary:
We re looking for an experienced Python Developer to support Fannie Mae s Autosys team in modernizing and automating cloud workflows. The ideal candidate must have strong AWS experience and hands-on expertise in either Amazon EventBridge or Apache Airflow. You ll help design, build, and manage event-driven job orchestration pipelines supporting enterprise scheduling needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Build Python-based automation scripts and microservices for job orchestration.
Design and manage workflows using EventBridge or Apache Airflow.
Integrate AWS-native services such as Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, and Step Functions.
Modernize legacy Autosys jobs into scalable, cloud-native frameworks.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in job execution pipelines.
Must-Have Skills:
5+ years of Python development experience.
Strong AWS hands-on experience (EventBridge, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
Hands-on experience with either Amazon EventBridge or Apache Airflow (required).
Experience Working With Enterprise Job Scheduling Tools (Autosys Preferred).
Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Infrastructure as Code.
Nice to Have:
Financial services domain exposure.
Experience With Docker, Step Functions, Or Kubernetes.
Infra-as-Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
