Job Title: Python Developer Location: Remote Experience: 7+ Years Employment Type: Contract About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with 7+ years of professional expertise in developing, optimizing, and deploying scalable applications. This mid-senior level contract role requires strong programming skills, hands-on experience with frameworks, APIs, and cloud platforms, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services. • Work with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Fast API. • Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices. • Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders for seamless integration. • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability. • Implement and maintain unit tests and automated testing frameworks. • Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices. • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting. • Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) for efficient data management. • Collaborate in an Agile environment to meet project deadlines. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • 7+ years of professional experience as a Python Developer. • Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks like Django, Flask • Hands-on experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. • Experience with RESTful API design and integration. • Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and collaborative development practices. • Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline. • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). • Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. • Knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture. • Familiarity with data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow). • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
