Job Overview: Akkodis is looking for a skilled Python Software Developer with strong experience in AI tools, data systems, and container-based development. This is a hybrid position based in Santa Clara, CA, requiring 2–3 days onsite per week. You will help modernize our legacy CRM system (Oracle RightNow), support large data initiatives, and develop intelligent systems leveraging AI technologies. Key Responsibilities: • Build and deploy software using Python, Docker, and containerization frameworks. • Leverage AI tools and frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, LangChain) to enhance data analysis, automation, and software intelligence. • Work with large datasets, structured and unstructured, for transformation and integration into modern platforms. • Modernize legacy CRM platforms (Oracle RightNow) and support the creation of new data systems. • Develop backend logic with cursors and SQL for efficient data processing. • Create uniform, well-structured technical documentation and standardize workflows across teams. • Participate in both independent and collaborative work (~30–40% team involvement). • Support project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. Required Skills: • 5+ years in software development with Python and Docker. • Hands-on experience with AI tools for development, automation, or data enhancement. • Experience working on large-scale data projects. • Familiarity with Oracle RightNow or other enterprise CRM systems. • Strong knowledge of SQL, data cursors, and backend system architecture. • Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects. • Strong written communication skills to produce consistent, clear documentation.
