Python Developer III (Contractor)

Salary: $70.00 to $70.00 hourly Description We are looking for an experienced Python Developer III to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Sunnyvale, California. This role requires expertise in Python and Go programming languages, alongside experience in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). As part of this position, you will play a key role in designing and developing high-performance APIs and backend systems while collaborating across multiple teams. Responsibilities • Design and develop robust APIs and messaging-based software infrastructure. • Build and maintain low-latency, high-throughput server components to handle large-scale transactions. • Analyze requirements, write efficient code, and create unit tests and testing tools. • Collaborate closely with QA, operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration. • Triage and resolve bugs effectively, ensuring smooth software performance. • Present and justify architectural designs and technical decisions to both internal and external stakeholders. • Develop backend systems with a focus on scalability and reliability. • Utilize AI/ML expertise to enhance software functionalities and capabilities. • Ensure thorough documentation and adherence to best practices throughout the development lifecycle. Requirements • Proven experience with Python and Go programming languages. • Strong background in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). • Expertise in designing and developing REST APIs and backend systems. • Solid understanding of low-latency, high-throughput server infrastructure. • Ability to analyze requirements and deliver well-tested, efficient code. • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, especially within cross-functional teams. • Familiarity with bug tracking, triage processes, and unit testing. • Capability to present and defend technical designs to diverse audiences.
