About the Company Motion recruitment has partnered with a financial service company and are seeking a Software Engineer in Chandler, AZ (Hybrid). About the Role This role involves designing, engineering, and developing complex automation solutions, producing automation solutions that leverage Generative AI Technology, and driving the implementation of innovative solutions across multiple Cybersecurity domains. Location: Chandler, AZ ( Hybrid) Duration: 12+ Month Contract Type: W-2 Contract Only – C2C, third-party, or sponsorship arrangements are not supported at this time. Responsibilities • Design, engineer, and develop complex automation solutions. • Produce automation solutions that leverage Generative AI Technology. • Drive implementation of innovative solutions across multiple Cybersecurity domains. • Interact with Engineering and Architecture peers to devise solutions that align with enterprise technology strategy. • Contribute to complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact. • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and scale technology solutions for cyber engineering disciplines. • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs. • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors. • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals. • Lead projects, engage teams, or serve as a peer mentor. Qualifications • BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Required Skills • 5+ years of professional experience in end-to-end software development designing, building, and deploying applications. • 5+ years of Full stack development experience. • Proficiency: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on Python and Node.js. • Language Expertise: 5+ years of strong proficiency in Python (Django, Flask) and Node.js, with a solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript. • Back-End Expertise: Experience in building RESTful APIs, microservices, and server-side applications. • Database Knowledge: Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis). • Cloud Services: Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and familiarity with DevOps practices. • Version Control: Strong experience with Git and version control workflows. • Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Front-End Knowledge: Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. • CI/CD Pipelines: Experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines. • Containerization: Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. • Testing Frameworks: Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, PyTest, or others. Preferred Skills • Background in AI/ML fundamentals. • Experience working with Gen AI and developing AI Models. • Gen AI Tools and Frameworks - ex: Agentic AI, Lang Chain and embedding workflows.
