Role description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Python Developer to join our AI team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing tests to evaluate the performance, accuracy, robustness, and efficiency of computer vision models using Python-based testing frameworks. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our vision-based AI solutions meet high standards of quality and reliability across various datasets and use cases. Responsibilities: β€’ Design and implement test plans for evaluating computer vision models (e.g., object detection, classification, segmentation, OCR). β€’ Develop automated test scripts and validation tools in Python for testing deep learning models (PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, etc.). β€’ Create synthetic and real-world test datasets that challenge model robustness and generalizability. β€’ Measure and report key metrics such as precision, recall, mAP, F1-score, and latency. β€’ Perform regression testing and model comparison across different versions or hardware environments. β€’ Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and QA teams to improve model quality and test coverage. β€’ Identify model failures and edge cases, and work closely with the development team to resolve them. β€’ Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing infrastructure and pipelines (CI/CD). β€’ Stay updated with best practices in model evaluation, ML testing frameworks, and tooling. Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or related field. β€’ 2+ years of experience in software or ML testing, preferably in a computer vision environment. β€’ Strong proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn. β€’ Experience in designing test cases for vision models including edge detection, object detection, facial recognition, etc. β€’ Solid understanding of evaluation metrics for classification, detection, and segmentation tasks. β€’ Familiarity with dataset preprocessing and augmentation techniques. β€’ Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and containerization (Docker) is a plus. β€’ Excellent debugging, documentation, and analytical skills. Preferred Skills: β€’ Experience with synthetic data generation tools or frameworks. β€’ Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and ML Ops pipelines. β€’ Familiarity with annotation tools and dataset management platforms (e.g., Labelbox, CVAT). β€’ Experience with model monitoring and A/B testing in production environments.
