You’ll be at the forefront of designing distributed asynchronous systems, guiding junior developers, and collaborating with stakeholders to align tech with strategy. Responsibilities: • Lead development of Python-based applications and services • Architect distributed asynchronous systems to avoid data conflicts in immutable environments • Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative engineering culture • Engage with stakeholders to define requirements and align with business goals • Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of cloud-native solutions • Work hands-on with Kubernetes (via Docker), Kafka, Azure, and GitHub • Drive architectural decisions and system improvements Required Skills: • 7+ years of Python development experience (beyond scripting) • 5+ years of experience in multiprocessing and cloud-native development • 3+ years of hands-on experience designing distributed asynchronous systems • 2+ years working with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, Azure, and GitHub • Proven ability to design conflict-free distributed solutions • Excellent problem-solving and autonomous work ethic • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills • Experience mentoring junior engineers (minimum 2 years) • Adaptability and a focus on delivering business value Nice to have: • Experience in the energy sector • Financial background or exposure
