You will be responsible for developing and maintaining various software products, writing efficient and reusable code, and integrating applications with third-party web services. Responsibilities: • Write, test, and debug code for various applications. • Develop back-end components and connect applications with third-party web services. • Design and implement data storage solutions. • Ensure the performance and responsiveness of applications. • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. • Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation for code and processes. Required Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Python Developer or similar role. • Strong proficiency in Python and its frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask). • Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). • Oracle environment experience a plus, but not mandatory • Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services. • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). Preferred Skills: • Experience with data processing libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy). • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn) is a plus. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment. • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Work Environment: • 5 days a week on-site- downtown Houston location
