Title: Python Developer Location: Charlotte, 3x/week Hybrid Type: 12-18 month Contract Pay: $65/hr Job Description: Insight Global is looking to hire a sharp Python Developer for one of our largest financial clients in Charlotte, NC. This individual will join a well-established Global Treasury technology team within the Enterprise Risk & Finance Technology Space. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysis and development of application on a proprietary trading platform to support various regulatory requirements, is expected to work with multiple teams to build support for various alternate rate indexes and FRTB work. This candidate must be driven and possess intellectual curiosity and great communication. Must haves: • 6-10 years of experience as a Fullstack Python Developer (50/50 preferred) • Design and development experience in modern technologies such as API management, REST/API integration, Containers, Micro services. • Oracle & SQL Database Experience • Experience in Web UI (Angular, Spring) and CI/CD tools • UNIX scripting (Python, Perl, Shell (Bash or Zsh)) • Strong understanding of SDLC End-to-End • Must have excellent written and verbal communication, as well as professionalism Plusses: • Understanding of various financial instruments Interest rate swaps, FX swap and bond • Regulatory Reporting background/experience
