β’ Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation tools for electronic trading infrastructure.
β’ Collaborate with infrastructure and trading teams to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
β’ Take ownership of components throughout their lifecycle-from design to deployment and support.
β’ Contribute to continuous integration and test-driven development practices.
Essential Skills & Experience:
β’ Advanced proficiency in Python and core software engineering principles (data structures, OOP, regular expressions).
β’ Strong experience writing unit tests, including mocking external utilities and APIs.
β’ Comfortable working in Linux and CLI-based environments.
β’ Familiarity with Linux debugging tools (e.g., tcpdump, strace).
β’ Proficient with modern development tools such as Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
β’ Demonstrated ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Desirable Skills:
β’ Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Ansible).
β’ Development experience in Golang.
β’ Familiarity with RESTful APIs for managing compute and storage infrastructure.
β’ Prior experience in regulated environments with stringent security requirements.
