Role description
• • Hybrid On-site 3-4days/week in Pittsburgh PA OR Lake Mary FL • • We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in Python and the Flask framework to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a multiplatform web API and services, ensuring efficient and scalable solutions. This role requires a strong foundation in both backend and frontend technologies, with a focus on creating seamless user experiences. Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain a multiplatform web API and services using Python and Flask. • Utilize Flask SQLAlchemy and Flask Blueprints for efficient database management and application structuring. • Write efficient code to build solutions with a small footprint, reducing resource and database load on user interfaces. • Collaborate with the team to implement CI/CD pipelines using Maven and Git. • Manage source control using Git/GitHub. • Work with Jenkins, Git, and Jira for project management and continuous integration. Required Skills/Experience: • Expertise in Python programming. • Proficiency in the Flask framework. • Hands-on experience with Flask SQLAlchemy and Flask Blueprints. • Experience with source control using Git/GitHub. • Familiarity with CI/CD processes using Maven and Git pipelines. • Knowledge of Jenkins, Git, and Jira. Preferred Skills/Experience: • Strong programming experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS3, and Bootstrap. • Working knowledge of Angular 9+. • Experience with NodeJS and NPM tools. • Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, and writing cross-browser compatible code. • Understanding of Flat box and material design concepts. • Knowledge of CSS pre-compilers like SASS and LESS. • Experience in writing test cases using Karma, Protractor, and other frameworks, with the ability to perform unit testing. Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
