QA & UAT Engineer

Job Title: QA & UAT Engineer Location: London Work Arrangement: Hybrid, Contract inside Ir35 Seniority Level: Junior to Mid-Level About the Role: We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA & UAT Engineer to join a growing quality assurance team. This role is ideal for someone with 2–4 years of experience in software QA and UAT testing, who enjoys working in dynamic environments and is passionate about delivering high-quality software solutions. You’ll play a key role in validating product features, managing UAT cycles, and ensuring smooth delivery of releases across various lifecycle environments. Key Responsibilities: • Design and execute detailed manual test cases based on business and technical requirements • Support UAT cycles with internal stakeholders and end-users • Identify, document, and manage defects using Jira, ServiceNow, or similar tools • Collaborate with product and development teams to clarify requirements and ensure testability • Validate results against expected outcomes to ensure functional accuracy and usability • Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans and summary reports • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives • Provide training and support during UAT phases Required Skills & Qualifications: • 2–4 years of experience in software QA and UAT testing • Strong understanding of QA methodologies and SDLC • Experience with ServiceNow platform, including Legal Service Delivery module • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools • Proficiency in manual testing and UAT scripting • Excellent communication and documentation skills • Ability to manage testing across multiple projects independently • Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus Soft Skills: • Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking • Ownership mindset and commitment to quality • Effective time management and prioritization • Collaborative and culturally aware team player Interested?
