Qlik Sense BI Developer – As a BI Developer specializing in Qlik Sense, you will design, develop, and maintain data visualization solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights. Your work enables business stakeholders to make informed decisions through intuitive dashboards and reports that reflect key performance metrics. Key Responsibilities: Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with business and data teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical specifications. Data Integration & Modeling: Design efficient data models and perform ETL from various sources to ensure data accuracy and performance. Dashboard Development: Build interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense scripting and visualization tools. Performance Optimization: Enhance application performance through script optimization and efficient data modeling. Testing & QA: Conduct rigorous testing and support user acceptance to ensure data accuracy and functional alignment. Documentation & Training: Document data processes and train users to maximize the value of Qlik applications. Data Governance: Implement security and data access controls while ensuring data integrity and compliance. Support & Maintenance: Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot issues, and adapt applications to evolving business needs. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT, analysts, and business units to align solutions with strategic goals. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Qlik Sense advancements and apply best practices to improve solution design and performance. Required Skills: • Qlik Sense Expertise: Proficiency in Qlik Sense, including data modeling, scripting, and visualization techniques. • Data Integration and ETL: Knowledge of ETL processes, data extraction, and transformation, along with experience in SQL and data connectors. • Scripting: Experience with Qlik’s scripting language for custom data loading, transformation, and calculations. • Data Analysis and Visualization: Skills in visualizing data, selecting appropriate chart types, and creating user-friendly, interactive dashboards. • Performance Optimization: Understanding of Qlik performance tuning, data model optimization, and dashboard load balancing. • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze and troubleshoot data issues, application errors, and performance concerns. • Communication: Effective at gathering requirements, explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and collaborating with teams. • Design and UX Skills • Security & Compliance awareness: Understanding of data security principles to ensure sensitive information is protected. Ability to apply role-based security, authentication, and authorization measures within Power Apps.
