Role description
A technology services client of ours is looking for a Qlik Sense Data Engineer for their ongoing projects.
Below are the additional details of this role:
Required Qualifications:
• Expertise in BI tools: Qlik Sense (including Qlik Sense objects, Alternate States, Direct Discovery, QMC), Power BI, and Nprinting.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts: Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension tables.
• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle 9i, SQL Server, and Hive.
• Experience with Java, J2EE, JMS, MDB, and Web Services.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform (Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Big Query, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL).
• Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark 2.0) and UNIX/Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Salesforce integration and SAP systems is a plus.
• Skilled in handling flat files, XML files, and automated report generation (Pixel Perfect reports).
• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support capabilities.
