The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in test automation using Python and Selenium, experience working with BDD frameworks, and a solid understanding of both functional and non-functional testing in enterprise-grade ERP systems. This is a client-facing role that requires proactive communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to contribute to automation strategy and framework development. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as the QA point of contact for clients. • Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and regular status updates. • Clarify test scenarios, test coverage, and provide technical guidance to stakeholders. • Define and drive test strategies and test plans for ERP modules. • Ensure thorough test coverage, including edge cases and integration scenarios across modules. • Design, build, and enhance robust, scalable automation frameworks for web-based ERP solutions. • Mentor junior QA members on framework best practices. • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Python + Selenium. • Ensure timely script updates as per evolving business logic and application features. • Implement BDD test cases using tools like Cucumber, Jasmine, or Mocha. • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to define executable specifications. • Integrate test suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/TeamCity/Bamboo). • Log and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring comprehensive documentation and collaboration with development teams. • ERP System Testing: Leverage ERP-specific domain knowledge to understand business flows and critical integrations. • Perform API and backend (DB) validations where applicable. • Languages & Automation: Strong programming skills in Python (with Selenium automation). • Experience in JavaScript or other modern languages. • Proficiency with Cucumber, Jasmine, or Mocha. • Version control using SVM, Git or Bitbucket. • CI/CD tools like Jenkins or TeamCity (preferred but not mandatory). • Test management tools like JIRA. Nice to Have: • Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, SOAP). • Basic experience with SQL/database queries for backend validation. • Exposure to Node.js and its testing ecosystem.
