Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our growing team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual and automated testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify and resolve issues and deliver high-quality software to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements and specifications
β’ Perform manual and automated testing of web and/or mobile applications
β’ Identify, document, and track software bugs and inconsistencies
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality standards and drive continuous improvement
β’ Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and product release activities
β’ Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar
β’ Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices
β’ Conduct regression, performance, and usability testing
Required Qualifications
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
β’ 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
β’ Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
β’ Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JUnit)
β’ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes
β’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills
β’ Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience with API testing and tools like Postman or REST Assured
β’ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
β’ Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner)
β’ ISTQB or other relevant certifications
β’ Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure
