Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Quantitative Analytics Specialist 4 - Contingent to join their team. As a Quantitative Analytics Specialist 4 - Contingent, you will be part of the Contingent Solutions department supporting Counterparty Credit Risk Modeling. What's the Job?
โข Develop, enhance, and maintain counterparty credit risk models related to cross-margin methodologies.
โข Derive analytical formulas, validate assumptions, and identify gaps in existing implementations.
โข Improve or replace outdated models using modern stochastic and capital markets modeling techniques.
โข Support modeling across a range of complex financial products, including equity swaps, metals, energy derivatives, and convertible bonds.
โข Lead the buildout and integration of Python-based quantitative libraries to support model development and validation activities.
What's Needed?
โข Expert-level proficiency in Python, with the ability to build, structure, and maintain quant libraries.
โข SQL expertise to query and manipulate large datasets effectively.
โข Strong mathematical foundation with experience in stochastic modeling, probability, and statistics.
โข Deep understanding of cross margining concepts within prime brokerage or derivatives clearing.
โข Minimum of 5+ years of experience in quantitative analytics or related fields.
