RCM Reporting and Data Analyst $21-23 an hour Birmingham, AL Join a dynamic healthcare operations team as a Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Reporting and Data Analyst. This role is essential to maintaining the financial integrity of the organization by performing deep-dive quality assurance audits and providing actionable data insights. You will work closely with RCM leadership to ensure proper reimbursement, identify financial trends, and facilitate operational excellence. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in medical billing and financial reporting who thrives in a collaborative, professional office environment. Job Duties: β€’ Perform quality assurance audits to ensure accurate reimbursement for all healthcare services β€’ Create and document standardized department policies to drive operational efficiency β€’ Evaluate current billing and collection procedures to identify areas for workflow improvement β€’ Generate detailed financial data reports for fee processing and management review β€’ Develop monthly client report cards and comprehensive year-over-year financial comparisons β€’ Train billing staff on updated operating protocols and system standards β€’ Manage the logistics of new client onboarding to ensure high retention and impact β€’ Research healthcare market trends to develop proactive plans for financial risk mitigation β€’ Maintain an organized library of documentation guidelines and medical coding tools β€’ Collaborate with leadership on special data projects and trend identification reports β€’ Identify and report on emerging financial data trends to improve practice health Experience: β€’ Three to five years of experience in medical billing and management reporting β€’ Technical proficiency in Epic for revenue cycle operations and data retrieval β€’ Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for complex data organization and analysis β€’ Proven ability to interpret financial reports and communicate health metrics β€’ Strong critical thinking skills used to solve complex operational challenges β€’ Prior experience with Nextgen or MDI platforms considered a significant plus β€’ Professional approach to accountability and collaborative team communication β€’ Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high attention to detail β€’ High level of integrity and receptiveness to evolving healthcare industry standards At our clients’ request, only individuals with required experience will be considered.
