About the Role -
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Regulatory Data Analyst to support the end-to-end preparation of Form PF filings for a leading financial services client. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, requiring strong expertise in data transformation, validation, and reconciliation across large, complex datasets. The ideal candidate brings a strong technical foundation (SQL + Python) combined with exposure to capital markets or regulatory reporting environments, and thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings.

• Perform rigorous data quality checks, ensuring consistency, completeness, and auditability of all reported data
• Identify and resolve data discrepancies, working closely with business and technical stakeholders
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulatory filings under tight deadlines
• Document data processes, validation logic, and reporting workflows for audit and compliance purposes
Required Skills & Qualifications -
• Expert-level SQL proficiency – strong experience with complex joins, aggregations, and performance tuning (MUST HAVE)
• Solid experience in Python, particularly with pandas, data transformation and cleaning and automation workflows
• Advanced experience working with Excel-based data ingestion and transformation (handling large datasets, multiple sources)
• Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and quality control processes
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-pressure environments
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
Preferred Qualifications -
• Experience with Form PF reporting
• Exposure to SEC regulatory reporting frameworks
• Background in Capital Markets, Hedge Funds, or Asset Management
• Familiarity with financial datasets and investment reporting structures
What We’re Looking For -
• A hands-on data professional who can bridge the gap between technical data processing and regulatory reporting
• Someone who is highly detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and execution-focused
• A proactive communicator who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
