Role description
Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst/Engineer (Jersey City) to join their team. As a Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst/Engineer (Jersey City), you will be part of the Capital Management Technology team supporting regulatory compliance and data analysis initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst/Engineer (Jersey City) Location: Jersey City, NJ Pay Range:$65-68/hr What's the Job? โ€ข Develop and support data sourcing elements for calculating risk-weighted assets in compliance with Basel rules. โ€ข Design and implement data pipelines and workflows to ensure accurate and efficient data processing. โ€ข Partner with cross-functional teams to support the migration to a strategic capital reporting platform. โ€ข Interpret and validate business logic through code review and testing, ensuring regulatory compliance. โ€ข Document processes, data flows, and technical specifications to support ongoing compliance and audit requirements. What's Needed? โ€ข Strong understanding of banking regulations, especially Basel capital rules. โ€ข 5+ years of experience in data analysis and SQL (Oracle, Teradata, etc.). โ€ข 3+ years designing ETL workflows and data pipelines using tools like Trifacta, Talend, Alteryx, Informatica, etc. โ€ข Ability to read and interpret code (Python, SQL) and validate business logic. โ€ข Experience with data profiling, cleansing, and transformation techniques.
