Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Automation & Management:
β’ Design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using GCP services.
β’ Automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling using Terraform or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
β’ Manage GCP resources such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery to support development teams.
CI/CD Pipeline Management:
β’ Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
β’ Integrate pipelines with GCP tools like Cloud Build, Cloud Source Repositories, or third-party tools like Jenkins.
β’ Ensure optimized pipelines for faster builds and deployments.
Monitoring & Incident Management:
β’ Implement and manage cloud monitoring/logging with Dynatrace, Stackdriver Monitoring, Logging, and Trace.
β’ Monitor infrastructure health and resolve issues with minimal downtime.
β’ Set up alerting and create runbooks for incident resolution.
Security & Compliance:
β’ Apply security best practices including IAM, encryption, and network policies.
β’ Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, and internal security standards.
β’ Perform vulnerability assessments and regular patching.
Collaboration & Support:
β’ Work with development teams to design cloud-native applications.
β’ Collaborate with cloud architects on best practices for continuous integration and deployment.
β’ Provide day-to-day support for dev, QA, and production environments.
Cost Optimization:
β’ Monitor cloud usage and suggest cost-saving strategies like right-sizing, preemptible VMs, and auto-scaling.
Tooling & Scripting:
β’ Develop scripts in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate cloud tasks.
β’ Use tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for configuration management.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
β’ 3+ years as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer
β’ Hands-on experience with GCP services: Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, etc.
β’ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, Deployment Manager, Ansible
Technical Skills:
β’ Strong understanding of CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Cloud Build
β’ Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.)
β’ Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
