Reporting Analyst (Power BI / ERP Transition)
9–12 month contract | Manchester | (3-4 days on-site per week)
This is your chance to join a market leading manufacturing business based in Manchester. Due to ongoing company expansion, we now have an opportunity for a Reporting Analyst to join my clients team on a 9>12 month contract. As our client prepares to roll out Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, we’re looking for a Reporting Analyst to help transform my clients UK and Group reporting processes during this critical transition.
The Opportunity
Right now, the group reporting is heavily manual and Excel-driven. You’ll play a pivotal role in:
• Building a Power BI reporting pack to streamline Finance and Commercial reporting.
• Delivering accurate, consolidated insights for leadership and board decision-making.
• Working alongside the ERP project team to shape the future BI/Data Warehouse design.
• Helping us move from manual spreadsheets to a scalable, ERP-ready reporting environment.
What We’re Looking For (Essential skills)
• Strong Power BI expertise (3+ years), with proven ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience consolidating multi-entity/group reporting.
• Confidence presenting dashboards and analysis to senior stakeholders.
• Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics 365 Business Central a plus).
• Knowledge ofSQL and data modelling desirable.
• A proactive, detail-oriented analyst who thrives in fast-paced, transitional environments.
