Summary Do you have experience of providing data capture and reporting expertise, and experience of providing commercial and financial support on a channel partner reporting project? This consulting opportunity is to support our client, a leading technology and consumer electronics company, in onboarding and managing the data capture process for external channel partners to deliver accurate, timely sales and inventory reporting across the EMEIA region. The project needs a consultant who can: • onboard external channel partners to sales and inventory reporting processes and ensure ongoing weekly data capture • work with internal and external stakeholders to identify, investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies • analyse partner finance data to identify trends, exceptions and performance issues and communicate findings clearly. Please note this role is about making partner sales and inventory data reliable, on time and usable – it requires a consultant who has financial analysis experience and can effectively manage stakeholders. Key services: The key services that you will be asked to provide are: • Partner onboarding and enablement for sales and inventory reporting. • Finance data validation, reconciliation and audit of partner reporting submissions. • Stakeholder management and coordination across Sales, Finance, Operations and Technical teams. • Support to partner data capture tools, including requirements definition, testing and process improvement. • Trend, outlier and variance analysis on partner sales and inventory data. • Support with forecast preparation and insight reporting for commercial and finance teams. • Prepare weekly internal reports and present to management. Mandatory Requirements: Successful consultants will be able to demonstrate: • University degree with minimum 3 years experience working with finance data and reporting in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to easily build rapport and trust. • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills. • Working with internal teams and external partners to deliver recurring reporting processes. • Proven experience onboarding partners or third parties to data collection and reporting solutions. • Strong Excel capability for data analysis, reconciliation and reporting. • High attention to detail, inquisitive and proactive attitude. Optional Requirements: It will also be advantageous if you have: • Technical knowledge of EDI, SFTP or web-based reporting methods. • Experience using BusinessObjects, SQL, Tableau and/or Essbase. • Additional language capability alongside English.
