Overview
Weβre supporting a well-known global games studio seeking a Reporting Analyst to join a Player Insights / Analytics function. This role focuses on turning complex datasets into clear, trusted, and scalable reporting that supports product, player experience, and studio decision-making.
Youβll sit between stakeholders, analysts, and data engineering β building Power BI reporting, shaping datasets, and enabling self-serve analytics across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to stakeholder needs
β’ Translate business questions into structured reporting solutions using Power BI and SQL
β’ Work closely with data engineers to define, validate, and iterate datasets
β’ Scope and design data models aligned with established data engineering frameworks
β’ Implement data validation and QA checks to ensure trust and consistency
β’ Use Git / version control to manage SQL and reporting logic
β’ Improve self-serve analytics, including cubes and exploration tools
β’ Identify reporting gaps and proactively recommend improvements
β’ Contribute to future-focused reporting frameworks, including AI/BI integration
Required Skills
β’ Strong Power BI experience (DAX, modelling, visuals)
β’ Advanced SQL
β’ Experience working with Databricks or similar cloud data platforms
β’ Exposure to Git / version control for analytics assets
β’ Proven ability to debug data issues and maintain data quality
β’ Confident communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
β’ Experience with telemetry or event-based data
β’ Background in live service, gaming, or digital products
β’ Exposure to AI-driven BI, automation, or advanced analytics
β’ Understanding of player / user behaviour metrics
