Retail Data Analyst with Alteryx Expertise
Position Summary
The Retail Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in enabling data-driven decision-making, optimizing operational efficiency, and elevating customer satisfaction within our CE retail division. This role will have a strong emphasis on data management and preparation using Alteryx, transforming raw data into valuable insights that inform business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Alteryx-Focused Data Management & Integration:
β’ Develop, design, and execute robust data workflows using Alteryx Designer to ingest, cleanse, and transform data from a wide variety of disparate sources (e.g., sales, inventory, CRM, web analytics).
β’ Utilize Alteryx tools and functions to perform data blending, parsing, and advanced data preparation based on defined business rules and relationships.
β’ Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability within integrated datasets through rigorous validation and quality checks performed within Alteryx workflows.
β’ Automate data preparation and integration processes using Alteryx Server or scheduling tools to create repeatable, efficient, and scalable solutions.
Reporting & Visualization:
β’ Leverage Alteryx outputs to drive insightful dashboards and reports in tools like Tableau or Power BI. Analyze sales, inventory, visitor, and training data to identify trends and patterns.
β’ Process and analyze survey data using Alteryx to extract key insights on customer satisfaction, preferences, and pain points related to the CE product shopping experience.
Sales Performance Evaluation:
β’ Use Alteryx to combine and analyze sales team performance data against targets and key metrics such as sales lift, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
β’ Identify opportunities for improvement and recommend data-backed strategies to enhance team productivity and effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
β’ Collaborate with field sales, merchandising, and operations teams, using data pipelines developed in Alteryx to provide them with accurate and timely data.
β’ Effectively communicate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders, translating complex Alteryx workflows and data outputs into understandable, actionable business intelligence.
Data-Driven Strategy Development:
β’ Utilize advanced analytics, with a focus on Alteryx capabilities, to identify growth and innovation opportunities within the CE retail segment.
β’ Develop and execute data-driven strategies that enhance competitiveness and customer satisfaction in the CE market.
Minimum Qualifications:
β’ Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Retail Insights, or a related field.
β’ Proven hands-on experience using Alteryx Designer for complex data preparation, blending, and analysis.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and a strong understanding of database structures.
β’ Experience in developing reports and dashboards with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
β’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
