Role description
Overview: Seeking a Senior Analyst to support retail analytics initiatives. The role will focus on delivering high-impact business insights through data exploration, dashboard development, and analytical modeling to support areas such as merchandise planning, promotional performance, inventory health, and operational efficiency.
NEED extensive experience on the Retail side: business acumen, retail expertise, proficiency in SQL, Data Visualizations (e.g., Tableau), and Python (preferred).
Compensation: $70-$85/hour
Remote: MUST sit in EST time zone State
Duration: 6 month Contract with strong chance to convert full-time
β’ Can't work C2C or Provide Sponsorship
β’ Must-Haves:
β’ Minimum 3 years analytical experience in retail, especially applying insights to business KPIs and decision-making.
β’ Intermediate SQL skills (3 years): data discovery, understanding storage, and data retrieval.
β’ Minimum 3 years Retail industry experience (KPIs, etc.)
Nice-to-Haves:
β’ Tableau or other data visualization tools and building of dashboards for them
β’ Experience with pricing analytics (60% of the role).
β’ Familiarity with Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift.
β’ Coding / technical aptitude in Python, and for data analysis purposes (using pandas, NumPy, matplotlib)
β’ Ability to support data preparation and light modeling tasks.
β’ Business Intelligence background
β’ A/B testing concepts and basic statistical techniques
β’ Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Data Science/Analytics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field
