Role description
We’re Hiring: RFID Tech Lead – Hybrid in Dallas, TX!
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ Months (possibility of extension)
We’re looking for an experienced RFID Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of next-generation RFID solutions. This role requires a mix of technical leadership, hands-on development, and RFID subject-matter expertise.
Important: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech). Degrees like B.Sc., BCA, or MCA will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical strategy & architecture for RFID solutions (UHF, HF, NFC).
• Design end-to-end RFID systems, from hardware to enterprise integration.
• Mentor and guide a team of engineers.
• Integrate RFID hardware (Impinj, Zebra, Alien, etc.) with enterprise systems.
• Develop middleware, APIs, and software modules (Python, C#, or Java).
Must-Have Qualifications:
7+ years in software development, including 4+ years in RFID solutions
Strong knowledge of UHF (RAIN RFID), HF, NFC technologies & RF principles
Hands-on with RFID readers, antennas, printers, and tags
Proficiency in Python / C# / Java
RFID hardware integration with ERP, WMS, MES using SDKs, APIs, or message queues (MQTT, RabbitMQ)
Database skills: SQL & NoSQL
