Role description
Job Summary β€’ Lead the design and implementation of scalable RHEL 10 deployment models using both traditional and image-based (Anaconda, bootc-image-builder) provisioning. β€’ Manage Red Hat Satellite Server for content views, version locking, subscription management, and server rollouts. β€’ Develop and automate patching workflows utilizing Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, including writing playbooks for patching and centralized configuration management. β€’ Architect and implement CI/CD pipeline and GitOps integrations for OS deployment and management. β€’ Build and manage images for RHEL Image Mode using bootc and Containerfiles, enabling immutable, declarative, and compliant system builds. β€’ Ensure security compliance (FIPS, STIG, PCI-DSS) through automated remediation and advanced SELinux/SSH crypto configuration. β€’ Create and deliver training on RHEL 10, including new features (Flatpak, Lightspeed CLI, post-quantum encryption) and changes from RHEL 8/9. β€’ Lead in-place OS upgrades (RHEL 8/9 to 10) using Leapp, including pre-upgrade simulations, compatibility checks, remediation, and rollback planning. β€’ Develop upgrade and deployment automation scripts and playbooks for large-scale, hybrid environments. β€’ Provide expertise in kickstart, image build containers, and virtualization (Virtd) for streamlined server provisioning.
