Optomi, in partnership with a leading provider in the financial industry is seeing a Risk Reporting Specialist to join their team! This role is primarily focused on responding to ad hoc requests, validating data across systems, and surfacing key risk insights in a fast-paced environment. You’ll start by tackling one-off questions and data pulls in Google Sheets, then work toward building sustainable data models in Snowflake and dashboards in Tableau to streamline recurring needs. Key Responsibilities: • Respond quickly to ad hoc reporting and investigations using Google Sheets, reconciling and analyzing data across various datasets—often under tight deadlines • Develop scalable SQL queries in Snowflake to support data extraction, GRC metrics, and issue/control reporting • Build initial Tableau dashboards to visualize issues, controls, and remediation activity, helping to establish a foundation for scalable GRC reporting Required Skills & Experience: • 4+ years of experience in risk analytics, internal controls, business operations, or data reporting • Strong proficiency in Google Sheets, especially for handling large datasets, formulas, and collaborative analysis • Proficient in SQL with hands-on experience querying and validating data in Snowflake or similar warehouses • Experience with Tableau or similar BI tools (even if early-stage) • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret business questions into data logic • Comfortable managing shifting priorities and working across multiple stakeholders Preferred / Bonus Skills: • Familiarity with tools such as dbt, Airflow, or Git for data transformation and pipeline automation is helpful but not required. • Exposure to GRC platforms such as ServiceNow GRC, NContracts, AuditBoard, or Archer
