Key Duties and Responsibilities:
β’ Executes on statistical analysis plans
β’ Checks other analystβs work to ensure quality
β’ Evaluate and provide input to database selection, patient population selection and statistical analysis plans
β’ Support database management and optimization
β’ Develop tools to improve and automate RWD analytic work
β’ Develop applications in data visualization and dashboard
β’ Participate regular project meetings with the project manager, research stakeholders, and project team members at the agreed-upon schedule and frequency
Knowledge and Skills:
β’ 4 years SAS programming experience is required (preferred 5 plus); other programming skills such as, SQL, R, Python, Matlab, html are preferred
β’ Experience working with large databases is required. Experience working with AWS is preferred
β’ Knowledge of US healthcare system, health insurance billing/claims data, and electronic medical record data
β’ Familiarity with data analysis methods, data management, and data visualization
β’ Skills of data visualization and knowledge of dashboard creation using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, is preferred.
β’ Attention to detail is critical, as is adhering to standards and procedures
β’ Good organizational and written/verbal communication skills required
β’ Ability to work effectively in a constantly changing, fast-paced, diverse, and matrix environment
β’ Ability to multitask; strong work ethic and a βcan-doβ mentality
Education and Experience: Masterβs or PhD in epidemiology, biostatistics, math, data science, or similar disciplines required. Minimum 4 years of experience working in observational research within the life sciences industry or relevant academic, government, or consulting environment
