Sage ERP Implementation Engineer

Job Title: SAGE ERP Implementation Engineer Location: Remote Employment Type: 6+ months Contract with possible extension Job Summary We are seeking a skilled SAGE ERP Implementation Engineer to lead and support end-to-end implementation, customization, and integration of SAGE ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAGE 100, 300, or X3, along with deep understanding of accounting, supply chain, and manufacturing business processes. This role involves working closely with clients, business analysts, and technical teams to ensure successful deployments and post-implementation support. Key Responsibilities • Lead full lifecycle ERP implementations — from requirements analysis to configuration, testing, go-live, and post-implementation support. • Configure and customize SAGE ERP modules to meet business process requirements. • Integrate SAGE ERP with third-party applications, databases, or reporting tools (e.g., SQL Server, Power BI). • Develop and execute data migration strategies, including data mapping, cleansing, and validation. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze workflows and optimize SAGE ERP functionality. • Provide technical troubleshooting, documentation, and user training. • Stay current on product updates, patches, and advancements in SAGE ERP technology. • Support upgrades and maintenance to ensure system stability and compliance. Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience). • 5+ years of experience implementing or supporting SAGE ERP systems (100, 300, or X3). • Proficiency in SQL Server, Crystal Reports, and SAGE customization tools. • Experience developing integrations using APIs, web services, or middleware. • Strong understanding of accounting, manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution processes. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills. Preferred Qualifications • SAGE ERP certification or equivalent training. • Experience with SAGE Intacct, SAGE X3, or other cloud-based ERP platforms. • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or SSRS. • Experience working in multi-site or multinational ERP environments.
