Job Title: Part-Time Salesforce Administrator (20 hours/week, U.S.-Based, Remote)
Location: Remote (United States only)
Schedule: Part-time, approx. 20 hours per week

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Administrator with proven experience implementing and customizing Salesforce instances for diverse business needs. The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment. This role focuses on understanding our custom-built Salesforce solution, assisting clients with implementation and customization, managing data integrity across multiple CRM platforms, and creating flows and automations that support business processes. We are looking for the right-fit for our close-knit startup who seeks the opportunity to grow into a full-time position over time with us!
Key Responsibilities
Develop deep understanding of our custom-built Salesforce solution and assist in implementation for new clients
Work directly with firms to customize Salesforce instances to meet their specific needs while maintaining the integrity of the underlying solution structure
Create, maintain, and update flows, process automation, and validation rules to support business requirements
Maintain and update existing Apex code, triggers, and classes as needed to support evolving business needs
Work extensively with Salesforce Scheduler to build and maintain custom appointment scheduling solutions tailored to various client needs, manage automated processes, batch jobs, and scheduled flows
Build and maintain in-depth reports and dashboards to track key metrics, client activities, and system performance
Lead data integrity initiatives including cleaning, deduplication, and validation of data from external CRM platforms (Redtail, Wealthbox, Pipedrive, HubSpot, etc.)
Work with financial platform integrations including Orion, Schwab, Fidelity, and other custodial systems to ensure seamless data flow
Build and maintain custom data integration solutions to connect external systems with Salesforce
Transform and standardize data from various sources into formats compatible with our Salesforce interface
Assist with API connections and integrations between Salesforce and third-party systems
Configure and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, and security settings
Conduct thorough data quality checks and implement ongoing data governance practices
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into Salesforce configurations
Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and customizations
Troubleshoot configuration, data, and integration issues with a detail-oriented, analytical approach
Provide user training and support as needed during implementation
Required Qualifications
3+ years of Salesforce administration experience with strong focus on configuration and customization
Ability to read, understand, and make updates to existing Apex code, triggers, and classes (not required to write from scratch)
Working knowledge of Salesforce Scheduler for creating custom scheduling solutions
Demonstrated experience working with multiple CRM platforms and understanding data structures (e.g., Redtail, Wealthbox, Pipedrive, HubSpot, etc.)
Experience working with financial platform and custodial integration such as Orion, Schwab, Fidelity, and similar tools
Proven ability to build and maintain custom data integration solutions connecting external systems to Salesforce
Solid understanding of Salesforce Flow creation with strong emphasis on auto-launch flows, subflows, screen flows, record-triggered flows, and scheduled flows - automation, in-depth reporting, and tracking are our main operational pillars
Advanced understanding of data hygiene, deduplication, data validation, and data transformation best practices
Strong experience building custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to track business metrics and system performance
Strong experience with data import/export tools (Data Loader, Workbench, Data Import Wizard, etc.)
Ability to understand and work within custom Salesforce solutions while implementing client-specific customizations
Experience mapping data fields across different systems and ensuring data integrity during migrations
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver clean, accurate work
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance customization with standardization
Must be located in the United States and legally eligible to work
Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Comfortable working 20 hours per week on a flexible but consistent schedule
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM-201) required; Advanced Administrator (ADM-211) preferred
Deep, expert-level knowledge of Flow Builder including complex decision logic, loops, subflows, and error handling
Experience troubleshooting and optimizing flow performance and governor limits
Additional certifications such as Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Data Cloud Consultant
Experience with ETL tools or data transformation platforms
Deep familiarity with financial services and wealth management industry, including custodial platforms, portfolio management systems, and advisor workflows
Experience with API integrations and middleware platforms connecting Salesforce to financial systems
Experience with change management and stakeholder communication during CRM implementations
Knowledge of Salesforce security model, sharing rules, and permission sets
