Job Title: Salesforce Admin Location: Charlotte, NC (3 days on-site, 2 days remote) Structure: 12 Month Contract Pay: 45/hr Client: A Fortune 500 Financial Services Company Job Description: Brooksource is looking for a candidate to add to our client’s Administrator team. As a member of the Administrator Team, the Salesforce Administrator manages and optimizes the Salesforce platform, ensuring its effective use and alignment with business needs. This role involves configuring the system, tackling requests from requirement gathering to design to configuration, managing users and data, creating reports and dashboards, and providing general support to users. The Salesforce Administrator bridges the gap between technical aspects and business users, delivering business value efficiently. Key Responsibilities: User and License Management: Set up new users, manage permissions and access levels, and handle user provisioning and deprovisioning. System Configuration and Customization: Configure Salesforce to meet business requirements, customize objects, fields, workflows, and automation, and develop custom applications within the platform. Report and Dashboard Creation: Design and build reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders. Troubleshooting and Support: Address user-reported issues, provide technical support, and collaborate with Salesforce dev/engineer and sustain teams to resolve complex problems. Staying Up-to-Date: Keep current with the latest Salesforce releases and features, understand new functionalities, and identify opportunities to leverage them for the organization. Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, stakeholders, and other team members to understand their needs and ensure the Salesforce platform effectively supports their workflows. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as an internal expert on Salesforce best practices, governance, upcoming features, functionality, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Data Access Control: Design and execute organizational and user control to data access within Salesforce, including object, field, and record-level security. Process Evaluation: Evaluate existing processes, process automation, and reporting requirements to determine the most effective and efficient model. Solution Alignment: Partner with product and technical teams to ensure alignment with product strategy and technology goals. Service Cloud Optimization: Support Service Cloud redesign efforts to support business efficiency and satisfaction goals. Release Management: Prepare for and support Salesforce releases, where applicable. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience working as a Salesforce Systems Administrator. Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, information systems, or equivalent work experience. Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM 201), Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Certification, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant Certification, and/or Salesforce CPQ Certification. Deep understanding and experience with Service and Sales Cloud. Additional experience in Data Cloud and Financial Services Cloud is preferred. Experience in an enterprise-level environment (100+ users per system, complex business processes involving multiple integrated systems). Proficiency with Salesforce Classic and Salesforce Lightning. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences. Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and multi-task. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable insights. Problem-solving skills to identify root causes and develop effective solutions. Experience working within an Agile framework and managing tasks within a sprint cycle. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships. Understanding of business processes and how Salesforce can support business objectives. Expertise with Salesforce Lightning Flows and Omniscript. Relevant business analysis and services skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Experience defining business requirements, writing user stories, creating detailed functional designs, and processing documentation. Knowledge of Salesforce products and the ability to develop solutions using standard functionality. Familiarity with Salesforce.com best practices, support mechanisms, procedures, and limitations.
