Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the discovery and assessment phase of migrating a legacy .NET-based application to Salesforce. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce architecture, Financial Services Cloud (FSC), and experience in the Life Insurance domain. This role requires expertise in capability mapping, gap analysis, system integration planning, and data migration strategy. The Architect will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to define a scalable Salesforce solution aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Lead discovery workshops to understand the current .NET application landscape and define business and technical requirements.
β’ Conduct capability mapping between the existing system and Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.
β’ Perform gap analysis to identify custom development or configuration needs.
β’ Define a high-level solution architecture that incorporates best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
β’ Develop the integration strategy with external systems and internal platforms.
β’ Create a roadmap for data migration, including data modeling, cleansing, and transformation planning.
β’ Collaborate with business users, developers, and other architects to define implementation milestones.
β’ Provide input on cost estimates, resource needs, and project timelines.
β’ Document findings and recommendations in a formal discovery report.
Required Qualifications:
β’ 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 6+ years as a Salesforce Architect.
β’ Proven experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) and relevant Salesforce Clouds.
β’ Strong understanding of Life Insurance processes, policy administration, and client servicing workflows.
β’ Demonstrated experience in migrating or integrating legacy applications (.NET stack preferred) into Salesforce.
β’ Expertise in Salesforce data modeling, security, and platform architecture.
β’ Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns (REST, SOAP, APIs, middleware tools).
β’ Experience with data migration tools (Data Loader, Informatica, MuleSoft, etc.).
β’ Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
β’ Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Application Architect, FSC Accreditation) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
β’ Based in or near Dallas, TX or open to hybrid engagements.
β’ Prior experience working in Life Insurance carriers or financial institutions.
β’ Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in financial services.
β’ Experience with Agile project methodologies.
