Role description
CrossTech is seeking a Salesforce Technical Business Analyst for immediate hire to support enterprise CRM and system integration initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of business analysis, Salesforce configuration, and technical solutioning. Hybrid role with a 50% onsite requirement in Albany, NY - no exceptions.
The ideal candidate will:
- Lead requirements gathering and stakeholder engagement
- Perform hands-on Salesforce configuration (Flows, validation rules, Service Cloud)
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
- Partner closely with engineering teams on APIs, integrations, and data flows
Job Description
-Lead stakeholder workshops, gather and document requirements, translate into user stories and technical specs, maintain backlogs, and act as liaison between business and IT
-Salesforce Configuration & Solution Support
-Configure workflows, validation rules, flows, and security; support Service Cloud; collaborate with developers on Apex, Lightning, and Visualforce
Technical Coordination & Integrations
-Partner with engineering teams to define and support APIs, integrations, and data flows; translate business requirements into technical solutions; participate in design discussions
Process Mapping & Optimization
-Analyze current processes, design future-state workflows using Visio/Lucidchart, recommend scalable improvements
Testing & Deployment
Lead UAT, create test scripts, coordinate releases, validate system functionality
Data & Reporting
Perform data analysis, build dashboards and reports, ensure data integrity
Support & Documentation
Troubleshoot issues, create documentation, provide training
Required Qualifications
7+ years Business Analysis or Technical BA experience
2+ years Salesforce experience (Service Cloud preferred)
Hands-on Salesforce configuration experience
Understanding of Salesforce object model, APIs, and integrations
Experience working in integrated environments
Experience with Agile/Scrum
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce certifications (Admin, Business Analyst, Platform)
Experience with CPQ, Pardot, or Industry Clouds
Experience in enterprise or regulated environments
SQL or data analysis experience
Compensation
$55-$60/hr | Long-tern contract with potential extension
