Role description
Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their SAP Business SME \_ on a Fixed Term Contract (FTC ) role in London , UK (Hybrid )
Job Summary:
Lead requirement elicitation from end-users for interface, data conversion, and data cleanse activities.
· Conduct design reviews and establish acceptance criteria.
· Analyze business processes and develop process maps where required.
· Provide functional support by documenting requirements, detailed design specifications, business processes, and user stories.
· Develop and maintain data conversion and cleanse strategies, including reconciliation activities.
· Coordinate across multiple development efforts to ensure alignment with requirements, expectations, and compliance regulations.
· Collaborate with programmers, database administrators, and technical specialists.
· Work closely with analysts to understand legacy systems, business processes, and data.
· Build expertise in ERP implementation/ Support best practices.
· Lead and execute functional testing, including test scenario development, documentation, and validation testing for interfaces and conversions.
· Monitor, track, and troubleshoot application operations and data issues, work with technical teams for resolution.
· Develop user training materials and deliver training on interface, data conversion, and data cleanse processes.
· Implement quality assurance standards, validation/verification processes, and software development best practices.
· Identify and drive process improvement initiatives.
· Mentor and guide junior resources as required.
· 10+ years of SAP project experience, with knowledge of Boomi integration.
· Strong analytical skills with excellent communication abilities in both English and French (written & oral).
· Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
· Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and apply new skills effectively.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
· Flexible and committed to working additional hours when necessary to achieve project goals.
