SAP Data Consultant for Risk-Based Assessment

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Object Owner to join our Risk Based Assessment team. This critical role will be responsible for implementing and managing complex data migration, data governance, and integration processes for our risk management platform on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The ideal candidate will leverage their SAP Advanced Data Migration and Management (ADMM) expertise by Syniti, SQL, and database management to ensure seamless data transfer, validation, and integrity across our risk assessment infrastructure. This position sits at the intersection of technical data management and business-critical risk assessment processes. Key Responsibilities Data Architecture and Setup • Implement and configure over 40 different target tables/classes within ADMM to support our comprehensive risk management framework • Collaborate with technical and business teams to determine optimal strategies for data organization and table structures • Document and maintain complex data mappings from Dataset Design Documents into ADMM for up to 7,000+ fields ETL Development and Management • Develop robust SQL rules and transformation logic to ensure accurate data processing • Build, test, and refine ETL processes to maintain data integrity across systems • Conduct thorough validation to ensure ETL output aligns with established mappings and design specifications Data Loading and Integration • Partner with API specialists to prepare and format load files • Support Test Unit Testing (TUT) and Functional Unit Testing (FUT) processes • Develop comprehensive documentation and runbooks for data migration procedures • Troubleshoot data transfer issues during mock runs and production go-live events • Ensure reliable data readback ("GET") functionality Reporting and Analytics • Create and publish diverse reports including error tracking, data quality, pre-load and post-load analyses • Generate actionable insights from reporting data to drive continuous improvement • Present findings to technical and business stakeholders Go-Live Support • Oversee ETL processes during critical implementation phases • Produce timely reports for business stakeholders • Lead pre-load and post-load validation efforts • Provide expert troubleshooting and problem resolution during production transitions Qualifications Required Skills • Demonstrated experience with SAP Advanced Data Migration and Management (ADMM) by Syniti • Strong proficiency in SQL, particularly Hana SQL and SQL Server • Proven ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies • Experience with data migration, ETL processes, and validation methodologies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent documentation and communication abilities Preferred Skills • Familiarity with Credo • Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and AsInt applications • Understanding of Class & Characteristics structure in SAP environments • Background in risk management or assessment frameworks • Experience with SAP HANA Cloud and related technologies Technical Environment The role will utilize the following tools and technologies: • SAP Advanced Data Migration and Management (ADMM) • Hana SQL • SQL Server Management Studio • SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) • SAP Asset Performance Management (APM) • AsInt applications for risk-based assessment
