SAP Datasphere SAC Consultant

Role: SAP Datasphere SAC consultant Location: 100% remote Duration: 6-12 months Must have’s: • Must have strong Datasphere. • Must have Good working knowledge of live data connections and import mechanisms within SAC. • Scheduling automated reloads and building complex Key Figure calculations in Datasphere using data imported from BW to be consumed by SAC. • BW/BW query background is helpful too as this is the source of the base data and calculations. • These complex calculations require a detailed understanding of logic, currency, and hierarchy implications. • The final results of all these calculations in Datasphere are then sent to/consumed by SAC. • SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud) specifically in regard to. • Scheduling / importing data from Datasphere to SAC. • Loading and maintaining master data from Datasphere to SAC. • Security set-up and maintenance in SAC (to allow users in Teams to maintain user access within Teams). • Specialized scripting for commenting in SAC. • Currency rate loading and currency conversion in SAC. Principal Accountabilities: • Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAP BW using SDI to development to support various analytics data models. • Develop, deliver, and support analytic solutions in alignment with business requirements using SAC and Datasphere. • Utilize best practice architecture and design principles to create analytical data models. • Understand customer demands, challenge requirements, and translate them into effective analytical solutions. • Build secure and compliant cloud analytic solutions adhering to best practices in data security and privacy. Job Requirements: • 5+ years of experience working in Business Intelligence Developer/Analyst roles, preferably with SAP systems. • Extensive knowledge of SAP Datasphere, ECC, and BW. • Expertise in building restricted and calculated measures in Datasphere. • Experience SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and its data structures for both Analytics and Planning. • SAC expertise building data actions for planning and major factor calculations as well as dimension and story calculations. • Good experience and exposure in working with BW import models and the capability to suggest improvements or changes. • Good working knowledge of live data connections and import mechanisms within SAC. • Very strong in handling Data Actions and Advanced Designer (AD) scripts. • Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). • Mastery of concepts and practices of OLAP, data warehouse design, multidimensional and relational reporting and analysis.
