Job Title: SAP ECC Business Analyst & Subject Matter Expert (Contract Role) Location: Boston, MA Company: Ascenteum Job Description: Ascenteum is seeking an SAP ECC Business Analyst and Subject Matter Expert with a focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP FIORI to support reporting development. This contract role, based in our Boston office, will be critical in gathering and analysing reporting requirements from finance and business stakeholders and collaborating with the technical team to design and implement effective SAC stories. Key Responsibilities: - Gather and analyse reporting requirements from finance and business stakeholders to ensure their needs are accurately captured. - Collaborate closely with the technical team to design and develop SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) stories that align with business metrics and reporting needs. - Validate data accuracy and ensure alignment with key performance measures across reports and dashboards. - Leverage strong MS Excel skills to perform complex analyses and reporting, as various business areas rely on intricate formulas for their reporting requirements. - Develop user-friendly reporting solutions utilising SAP FIORI and SAC, ensuring they effectively meet the stakeholders' expectations. - Provide ongoing support during the implementation phase, including training stakeholders on how to utilise the new reporting tools and troubleshooting any issues that arise. - Document reporting requirements, design specifications, and data models for compliance and future reference. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field. - Proven experience as a Business Analyst with specialisation in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and SAP FIORI. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including the ability to implement and manage complex formulas and data analysis techniques. - Experience in data validation and ensuring integrity in reports generated from SAP systems. - Knowledge of SAP ECC and its associated modules is a plus.
